New Moon Virgo Energy

I had an epiphany today, during a class where the discussion was centered around money as a sacred exchange within a free market economy. This particular topic was a very difficult discussion, as discussing money is difficult in and of itself; but add in the particular brand of economics that exist in the world today, and the world view difference shine as brightly as nuclear fallout under a black light. I’ve given a lot of thought about this topic and I truly feel that I am aligned in my integrity, my authenticity, my heart, and in right timing to comment on this topic.

For me, this is emphasized by my need to evolve my mindset and be open to the possibilities that lay ahead, trusting my intuition and the process by which this medium provides.

I asked a provocative question: When buying from another individual, how do you differentiate between their value and the value of their product that they are selling? You could inherently think that person of high integrity but not like what they sell; conversely, and more to the point - what if you did not value them as a person, thus rendering their product completely unworthy of your money? Certainly, this is a discussion for the ages, because the real question is this: when discussing the topic of a Free Market Economy, first one must define the word, “FREE”. Define “free”? Is the Market, and anyone who can enter into that market to sell their wares truly free? We can look back on the whole of history and find countless examples of when entire populations of people, for arbitrary reasons, were kept out of the “free market economy”, and even if they were allowed in - where do the lines of judgement lay to differentiate between someone who deserves to be there and whether you, as a consumer, believe they have that same entitlement? Is it that you really had the best product? Or did your best product become “less than” in the eyes of the buyer, merely because your skin was a different color, or you had a rainbow flag hanging next to the register?

The provocative answer was this: you, as a seller, can decide not to sell just as much as the buyer does not have to buy. And sure - of course, that is true! But is it, really? Or is that just what we want to tell ourselves, while snubbing various members of the community merely based on some arbitrary judgement made about you, as a person - even if your self-worth is all that and a bag of chips, you’re still being chastised for nothing other than your BEING the human that you’ve always been.

To be perfectly clear - I am talking about things that are fundamentally outside of the seller’s control. The color of their skin, their gender identity, or who they desire to be in relations with are a) how these individuals were born and b) none of my business to judge. This is my blog and I am standing tall with every person of color, every walk of life, and every lifestyle that belongs in our modern society. If you, as a human, decide that these individuals - for any reason - are to be considered “less than”, even if that means that you refuse to buy their wares simply because they exist, then we have a fundamental disagreement. And - it is on that disagreement alone that I judge you in return. Now, I have neighbors that may believe differently than me - and that’s ok. It has to be ok, because in the end, Love is what matters and our being fellow, decent humans to one another is what matters. But if you want me to buy from you while you explicitly advocate against these alternative ways of life from yours, then I will not buy from you because I do not believe you are acting in an ethical, equitable manner.

It is from this perspective that the conversation about the possible defense of a free market economy begins for me. If I believe that every human on the planet is valuable merely because they exist, how then do I make decisions on what to purchase or explain what my services are worth to anyone who wishes to hire me?

The truth is that I set my prices based on how I value my clients as people and how I value their capacity to heal. Human Design is, after all, an experiment for which I am merely the facilitator of translating the energetic language of the body into relevant building blocks for my clients to decide to climb. Certainly the Internet can provide similar information and those who choose to engage with an AI bot instead of coaching services will certainly have plenty to discern regarding authenticity! But having a human to bounce questions off of, to more deeply understand the nature of being human in today’s modern age and how to pursue actual growth in a supported manner is the charge placed on my shoulders. Understanding the complexity and nuances of human design as a tool for growth is my expertise that we then exchange in a sacred way, through mutual respect and care for each other.

Therefore, my challenge at this time is this: I have a need to Surrender, because my deepest desires are truly supported by the Universal flow of Abundance, honoring my way of using language and creative expression to align people with a higher expression of possibility. And that is through my experiences, my story. I have been moved by the Universe most of my life and certainly my entire adult life. I listened and followed my intuition for when the timing was right to leave my ex-husband. When I was to move to Portland, where I now reside. How I have worked in different industries, and how I am walking into this one - into something different. Change is hard, no matter how you slice it and I admittedly struggle with what that kind of change would look like for my family: my aging parents that live with me because they couldn’t afford to live on their own and my advocacy for neurodivergent kids through broken educational and healthcare systems.

In the past, I have struggled to learn to respond to the right opportunities. I turned away from being guided into an outwardly-facing spiritual lifestyle so that I could make money and make something of myself. I dragged my body through the mud from the bottom of the pile, a lowly data entry clerk making minimum wage, hiding my woo-woo proclivities from the world and ended up devoting myself to going into Technology: The very thing that I dropped out of college to avoid. Because my parents expected that of me - to make money so I could save them. Because the timing seemed right, and the Universe offered me a pathway - a pathway of struggle and heartache, to be sure, but also one of deep self-discovery and life lessons along the way. And now, as I am faced with the terrifying (first-hand, hands-on) reality of AI and the depths to which unnaturally blue Kool-Aid is being chugged by corporate leaders and billionaires, all I can say to that is a hearty, visceral, SACRAL NUH-HUH!

In the past, I avoided devoting myself to the wrong thing to prove my love-worthiness. I married the wrong man simply in an attempt to divest myself from being the kid who was “destined to take care of mom and dad” - something they projected onto me since I was 5 years old. And yet somehow, by way of our traversing several, disparate states, they ended up living downstairs anyhow. Which, in retrospect, and especially during COVID, was exactly the lifeline that we all needed as a family, and now I would not want it any other way, for their sakes (and my own). In the past, I have failed to use my body to express the fulfillment of human potential, unless you consider “fulfillment” being someone who weighed in at 350 lbs in 2022 - not exactly the “growth” trajectory I wanted, but certainly the path I chose! Having an over-indulgent mindset led to abusing my body, as that felt easier than facing my inner truths and doing the harder deconditioning work necessary to heal. But it is my journey back to my true value, my authentic nature - and to my finally following my spiritual purpose - that is the healing story I wish to tell. It is from here that I truly begin to BE.

In order for us to love ourselves for who we are, we cannot hate the experiences that shape us. I do not regret my journey - without it, I would not have moved across the country (twice) and settled in what I consider my “right space”. I would not have found my husband and I would not have had my beautiful children, filling my “right place”. I would not have lost 150 lbs in the last four years, inspired and supported by people of little wealth but vast, beautiful, and welcoming diversity in my local community, while we, as a collective, have been facing This Very Moment: what injustices are happening in the world around us, what is happening in our communities, to our planet, and to us as individuals around the topic of our worth as humans, the role of AI - which, if done in service of humanity, could be a sustainable dream, but alas - the polarized politics with which AI has partnered instead now threaten the demise of humanity itself.

So now the question I ask is this: What, if any, is my part to play in what’s to come and how do I align myself to my life purpose and make good on the lessons my soul signed up for, during my time here and now on this planet?

It is during this new moon in Virgo that I have attempted to deep dive into the planetary transits across the Human Design spectrum, both from a personal and from the perspective of the collective. For my part, this is deeply aligned with who I am and what I am here to fulfill as part of my Life Purpose, as I am apparently blessed by retelling powerful stories of transformation and communicate through pattern alignment and inspired preparation! So here goes:

On the collective level, the Channel of Discovery (29/46) is activated for us all - this is the time for us to dedicate ourselves to fulfilling the potential of the human story on the physical plane. We all become successful together through our commitment and devotion, through the embodiment of the fulfillment of our potential.

Today (September 10, 2026), Mercury is moving into Libra (Gate 46) and is asking us to look inward, to create order out of the chaos we are feeling and to reflect on our personal values and how we love. The reflection we may wish to consider is that of reflecting on our personal values and our relationship with money. Money as a sacred exchange. For me, I am personally challenged with that particular angle because the base premise of our collective success and the methodology by which we can fulfill our potential is not rooted in money. It is rooted in love. For me, these two are not equal.

When we also consider today’s new moon in Virgo (Gate 64 as the new moon appears), with cooperative placements by Venus (Gate 50) and Mars (Gate 53), the alignment to Divine Transference is telling all of us that a big idea is here and that this big idea needs our imaginations and dreaming during this, our Quarter of Manifestation. This idea is driven by passion and especially now, as we are all facing collective challenges and conflicts. Gate 53 is Starting energy for the collective, driven by passion and especially during challenges or conflict. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’m certainly feeling the challenges and conflict at the collective level! And Gate 50 is supporting this starting energy right here - in this my little Amber Radiance Community, asking us to nurture each other. Both the 50 and the 53 are reaching for the Sacral, challenging us to care for one another now more than ever. And it is challenging us to finish whatever you’re currently attempting to finish, because NOW is the time to make the space for what’s coming.

So while some of us may not know exactly how to put words to what our big ideas are, we are all being asked to internally reflect on how to clear out what we need to finish so that we can prepare - together - for what we manifest today. This manifestation is merely a seed that we plant, with the intentions set forth for continued growth from now into this next year.

And then there’s Uranus going retrograde - ALSO TODAY, folks! Oh yes, the Astrology was talking to all of us loudly! Uranus is in Gate 20 (the gate of metamorphosis through contemplation and/or patience), cooperating with the Moon’s placement today. Chiron is doing similar from Gate 10 (the gate of self-love and fulfillment through moral conduct); however, Chiron’s placement has more to it as it is tangled up with a Pluto and North Node conundrum. Together, they are all begging the question, "how do we best begin to shape that collective future together, once we know what it is we are to become?”

Let’s break this down a bit.

On a personal level, for all of us, Uranus going retrograde simply adds a complex layer in our individual quests for being guided in our intuition and future growth potential. Uranus is the Great Awakener, symbolizing breakthroughs that will start from now and run us into next year, the cosmological reset that (supposedly) is 2027. Uranus is also in Gemini, which is ALSO ruled by Mercury, so this is deeply personal for all of us, the need for our preparedness - but also our patience. We are being asked to consider what role we are each to play in what’s to come. In the Egyptian pantheon, Uranus is allied with Wadjet, the Cobra Kundalini Goddess. The story of Wadjet is that the energetic “snake” moves up our spine, breaking through any blockages so that powerful life force energy can flow freely. Now, whether we wish to cooperate in this process or not is the work, as the bite of the cobra can kill us, but if we survive, we are forever changed.

Now bringing Chiron into the conversation, Gate 10 then empowers our individual quests in support of the collective by challenging our moral conduct. If we are courageous, then this completes our Channel of Awakening, of being self-assured enough in our past wounds to look at how we are to evolve, how we are to change the narratives in each of our individual lives and to uplift each other in this journey, as a community, building a foundation of healthy support that we can then extend outwards and into the collective together. We need each other, now more than ever, in our quests! The time for change is now.

But there is a conundrum that we must first address, thanks to Pluto and our collective North Nodes, Channel 41-30, the channel of fantasy and desire, of recognition, of intention. Now, typically, if we were to consider these placements, on the surface they seem complimentary to our directive: it’s time to set intentions, it’s time to envision and hold a new, creative, expansive idea, transforming our collective futures. The conundrum, though, is deep in each of us: How do we EACH feel empowered to trust our intuition to knowing when the time is right to step into our authentic selves and to use our voices to powerfully unify us as a community and to know when the timing is right to do so? For me, personally, and in honoring my chart with respect to today’s transits, my pathway to using my voice comes to you all through my Defined Will: this center is where I am simultaneously challenged to establish a sustainable, enduring way to share and to do so through my authenticity and value, my desire to be a true servant leader in this space, and to make aligned, honest agreements. To trust in the flow of abundance and to create from sufficiency. In enough-ness.

Which brings me to our spiritual callings, our illusions and idealism. Whatever our big, expansive ideas are, they MUST be rooted by our love of our Spirit, and with Neptune in Gate 25, we are being asked to be aware of the potential of our using our lives strictly for personal gains. We cannot will our way into being aligned.

In my prior post, “Feeling Aligned”, I mentioned how, similarly to what my trainers tell me in the gym, we need to exercise our mind-body connection. Alignment in the body — emotionally speaking — is no different. It's an ACTIVE practice: slowing down when you feel rushed, focusing on what's important instead of what's just in front of you, checking your emotional form the same way I am forced to check my physical form mid-set - necessary to avoid injury. Alignment in the body then becomes an intrinsic love of your own experiences, embracing the life lessons and fine-tuning old, conditioned behavioral themes into a well-recognized pattern that you can course-correct without feeling tethered to the past. Regardless as to the state of your Sacral, we all can somatically sense the lies we tell ourselves by using various body parts as the pendulums of our energetic truths. There are many ways in which we can feel our energy tell us what is right and aligned and what is not - provided we are listening and paying close enough attention to our bodies to feel the sensations.

The challenge for ALL of us, right now and through this weekend, is to SET OUR INTENTIONS with how we wish to prepare ourselves starting now and heading into 2027. I will share here an Oracle reading I did this past Saturday (the picture is the reading): that there have been great injustices done in the name of money, in comparison to the weight of the world. If we do not exercise our intuition, our discernment, we risk becoming ungrounded, believing lies and suffering the lack of our own self-actualizations from the Impostors that sold us magic beans for our assumption of an abundant cow. This outcome has the potential to shake our collective self-confidence and risk our not moving ahead. But despite heightened feelings about money as a shared resource, we are offered the opportunity to face this grand undertaking of a better world with benevolence. And even though the synchronicity of the world is not yet aligned, if we trust in our collective growth and surrender to Source, we will transform the collective definition of success.

And maybe money isn’t truly what matters. Love is. 💖✨
